Wild Card Super Bowl Winners and Teams – Just like the name implies, a wild card team or wild-card Super Bowl winner is not picked by the experts, but rather is chosen by the fans. This has been going on for years now, and for many reasons. One reason is that the NFL has always chosen teams that they think will be able to win the Super Bowl. Another reason is that the fans have been very loyal and willing to root for any team no matter who they play or how they play. So even if the odds are against them, fans will fight and root anyway just so they can have a chance to see their favorite team in the big game.

It wasn’t long ago when fans were so mad: that the so-called experts were telling them that they would never actually see a Super Bowl victory. People were told that they had no chance at winning the Super Bowl. However, things have changed in a big way for the better in this year’s Super Bowl. So who are the wild-card Super Bowl winners this year? Here are some of my predictions for the top three wild card teams and players that I feel are capable of making this year’s Super Bowl has come about.

Denver Broncos – The Broncos are my wild-card Super Bowl winners this year. I feel that their defense is so good that they will not have trouble keeping the opposing offenses out of the end zone. If the Broncos can keep their offense on the field for an extended period of time, they have a great chance to take the trophy home. I also think that Von Miller will have a huge year and leads the NFL in sacks. Hopefully he gets so many sacks that he forces the quarterback to throw the ball and either picks it off or gets stuffed by a tackler. Either way, I think the Broncos will go into the Super Bowl with a much larger than normal paycheck.

Atlanta Falcons – The Falcons are my wild card super bowl winners because of their young talent. They have a number one running back withiquah teal pey, and a number two receiver in the form of the dynamic tight end tandem of Harry Douglas and Tony Parker. The team also has a number three overall quarterback in Matt Ryan. With a strong defensive unit and a strong running game, the Atlanta Falcons has everything they need to capture the Lombardi trophy.

Green Bay Packers – In the last five years, the only wild card Super Bowl win has been by a team not playing in the playoffs. That means the Packers are a very good football team, and I don’t see them finishing second in their division. I do feel that Aaron Rodgers will have a huge game, and helps take the Packers to the Super Bowl. I also think this team will surprise the heavyweights in the big game. I expect a very high scoring affair.

Denver Broncos – Last year, we saw a team come into the playoffs as heavy underdogs, only to blow most of the games. That made the super bowl so easy for the champion New England Patriots. This year, I don’t feel that the Broncos will be able to pull out a victory, even though the schedule is probably better. I do feel that the offense is good enough to make the big game happen, but the defense will always be a question mark.

I don’t see the super bowl having a wild card. I expect at least a T.Y. Hilton touchdown and a few more big plays from the Denver offense to take the division.
