Many people want to know, how many world series have the cardinals won? There are many different ways to answer this question, but for the sake of this article, we will be looking at the most recent season’s results. The St. Louis Cardinal’s place in the Major League is determined by their record against other professional teams in the league. The last two World Series winners for the Cards were also from St. Louis, so the Cards are not entirely out of the running, but can they win it this time around?

This question is one that can be answered in several different ways: For the purposes of this article, I have assigned a probability rating to the Cards based on the teams’ performance during play. The Cards have never been a team that wins every time out in the world series, nor have they been scoring more than winning percentage during any single season in the last twenty years. Based on these factors, I believe that it is very unlikely that the Cards will win their first world series since joining the National League in 1970.

However, I also believe that the Cards can win if they play their best game of the year: The key to defeating a team in a world series is to have a strong pitching performance and to keep the team’s offense in check while they throw the ball around the field. I think it is safe to say that the Cards are capable of beating any team in the world series, including the New York Yankees or the Los Angeles Dodgers. Only time will tell whether or not the Cards can win the world series, but I do believe that they have a good chance of it.

In the World Series, the only thing that matters is pitching: The team’s other five players are used to winning, so they don’t factor into the equation much. It has been close in the past, but the Cards haven’t been able to find the win. Many people have criticized the team for its lack of hitting, but it seems that the offense has hit the bottom of the barrel too many times this season. Only players like Tommy Lasorda, Mark Sanchez, and David Freese have been able to produce consistently for the team.

Most importantly, I believe that the Cards need to change: their method of preparing for the games. For as long as they bring the same starters to every game, they will never win a series. This is the same problem that the Boston Red Sox is facing right now. Bringing only their best players to every game is no way to develop a world-class team.

I believe the Cards are capable of building a world-class team: around the quality performances of each of their five position players. David Freese and Andy Pettitte should headline the starting lineup, but they can not carry the load alone. They need help to win the world series.

Developing a deeper pitching rotation, developing runners, bringing in free-agents, and acquiring the services of successful coaches can help turn this mediocre season around for Arizona Diamondbacks.
